Three wonders in one sacred place

    Vatican Museums

Founded in 1506 by Pope Julius II, the Vatican Museums house one of the world's greatest art collections. Over 70,000 works across 54 galleries — from Raphael's masterpieces to the Gallery of Maps — make this complex a journey through 5,000 years of human history and creativity.

    Sistine Chapel

Michelangelo's absolute masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel is famous for its ceiling painted between 1508 and 1512 with scenes from Genesis, and the monumental Last Judgment on the altar wall. Home of the Papal Conclave, it is one of the most visited and revered places in the world.

    St. Peter's Basilica

The largest church in Christendom, designed by Bramante, Michelangelo and Bernini. Its dome dominates the Rome skyline at 136 metres. Inside, Michelangelo's Pietà and Bernini's Baldachin enchant millions of visitors every year.
